What is a forward deployed engineer?
A software engineer who works inside one customer's organization, on that customer's systems and data, until working software is running. The job is part engineering and part working closely with the people who will use the result.
What roles do you place?
Forward deployed engineers, and forward deployed AI, data and infrastructure engineers, plus deployment strategists, individually or together as an FDE hub.
How do you vet engineers?
Four stages: a review of work they shipped to production, a working session on a problem that looks like the job, a conversation with a non-technical stakeholder, and references from people they deployed with.
What hiring options do you offer?
Contract, contract to hire, direct hire, and FDE hubs led by a deployment strategist.
Do we interview the engineers?
Yes. You interview every engineer on your shortlist, on your actual problem, and you decide who joins.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the role, seniority, location and hiring option. We agree rates or fees with you before you interview anyone.
Can engineers work on site?
Yes. Tell us in your brief whether the role is remote, hybrid or on site, and where.
Can you place engineers for public-sector or cleared work?
Some public-sector roles require US citizenship or an active security clearance. Tell us in your brief, and we will say plainly whether we can meet it.
Who owns what the engineer builds?
Your contract sets this out, including how intellectual property is assigned. Engineers work in your repositories and your environment, under your policies.
